Amstel 3 is an area with great potential. A big diversity of functions is in the immediate vicinity. The connection to the public transport is excellent and the accessibility by car is very good due to the presence of good internal infrastructure and nearby highways. By public transport in 20 minutes you're in downtown Amsterdam.The area is now mainly dominated by office buildings as solids in space and are surrounded by parking lots.
We propose a strategy where investors and property owners can transform the existing office buildings into multi functional plots. As a kick of to make the area lively, we propose pioneers of living and retail by introducing temporary container housing and employment / business containers. We also suggest two big infrastructural interventions to make the area more accessible
