The apartment has a view of the dunes and the sea. The atmosphere of the view, reflected in the interior material and colour use. To separate the parent and children department we have the entrance to the parent bedroom moved to the living room by means of a transparent Perspex door. For the connection between the bedroom and the living room, we utilize a sideboard that continues over in a wall cupboard and then goes through into a cupboard in the parent bedroom.
For the transition from wall to floor, we have opted for 2 x 2cm soft rubber on an equal level with the floor as a replacement of the baseboard. It is a modern, harmonious and warm environment and connects well with the magnificent view. Design in collaboration with Paul Kuipers.
